To avoid having to press the key Fn To turn on the backlight and use the other functions in row F that are drawn on each of the keys, you can change its value from functional to multimedia. You will most likely have to press it together with Fn. ![]() ![]() ![]() If none of these combinations work for you, examine the keyboard for a special icon with the letter A on the other keys (you can see its icon in all the photos above it is the same for Acer notebooks with a backlit keyboard). In the example below, you can see that it can be a Latin letter U, requiring, of course, the simultaneous pressing of the key Fn. In some compact notebooks, there is also a non-standard option.
